Anways, now assigning them a spaceship from the most glorious and weird AD&D setting, Spelljammer:
The Smalljammer, a manta ray/sting ray shaped magical spaceship that will eventually grow big enough to hold a city on its back
@kiosk Spelljammer, the setting that was replaced by Planescape. It was weird and glorious.
You didn't travel between worlds by hopping portals, you got a magical ship, took it into space, cracked a shell around the star system, traveled through a space where everything is made of FLAMMABLE, and then you get to another world/setting.
It was AWESOME.
AND WE GET IT BACK IN 5E.
@kiosk hopefully they keep the weird wacky stuff
Like minature giant space hamsters
@DissonantEevee oh that sounds fucking great
@DissonantEevee @kiosk just like in balder's gate
@DissonantEevee @kiosk @MTGCardLookup [[minsc, beloved ranger]] [[minsc and boo, timeless heroes]]
Minsc, Beloved Ranger - https://scryfall.com/card/afr/227/minsc-beloved-ranger?utm_source=api
Minsc & Boo, Timeless Heroes - https://scryfall.com/card/clb/285/minsc-&-boo-timeless-heroes?utm_source=api
@monorail @kiosk @MTGCardLookup exactly, Boo is a minature giant space hamster, a regression of the giant space hamsters created by the tinker gnomes of Krynn to power their spelljammers by running in giant hamster wheels.
@DissonantEevee oh what the hell this rules, whats it from
